George Jonilonis started buying real estate in San Diego
in 1960 with an initial $1,000 cash investment. Over the years he has owned
and managed 100's of units, office buildings and shopping centers. He became
a Realtor in 1967 and with a partner founded Pyramid Real Estate Company;
a firm that grew to over 25 associates, specializing in investment and
commercial properties and property management. In 1979 he sold Pyramid
and now serves as a consultant, exchange and investment broker and Real
Estate problem solver with clients throughout the country. He is a member
of the National Council of Exchangors, specializing in equity marketing.
George has served as a member of the Board of Directors
of the San Diego Board of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors,
and the National Association of Realtors. In 1978 George was elected President
of the 5000 member San Diego Board of Realtors. George is a past chairman
of the 1600 member Investment Division of the California Association of
Realtors. He has taught Real Estate Exchanging and Taxation at UCSD and
has presented seminars all over the country on the subject. He is a qualified
expert witness.
