The owner, Joseph Johanek, has been involved in metal detecting and Gold prospecting for the last 25 years in California and Arizona. He is a member of G.P.A.A./Lost Dutchman's Mining Association, New 49ers Club. Joseph is familiar with all phases of treasure hunting, metal detecting and gold prospecting (including hard rock mining).
